Senior Electrical Engineer/Project Lead - Facilities

This is a position for one who enjoys hands on work combined with leading.

The candidate will be providing medium voltage electrical engineering design services for facilities, industrial plants, and water and wastewater facilities, and airports. Individual will work individually with President, Chief Engineer providing guidance, supervision. This role will also require candidate to take the lead on projects and act as PM, lead other design engineers, and handle client relations.

CAD/REVIT Operator

Requires 3-5 or more years of related experience with engineering design and drafting using automated systems (AutoCAD and REVIT).

High school diploma or GED, Associate's Degree in a related discipline preferred, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience.

Questions that will be asked:

1) Describe briefly your experience of projects prepared in AutoCAD. What kind of documents did you produce? Are you familiar with AutoCAD 3D functions?

2) Describe the latest REVIT project that you worked on. What were your responsibilities? (Did you create family files? Use any of the system functions to place equipment or routing? Create and annotate sheet files? )

3) Do you have experience with electrical drafting? Describe briefly your experience and knowledge of transformers, switchgear, motor control centers, distribution panels, control panels and programmable logic controller functions.

Electrical Engineer - Power Systems

· 3-5 Years of Electrical Design

· Electrical Design – experience in the following: Design LV switchboards, LV switchgear, medium voltage (4.16kV, 13.2kV, 33kV) metal-clad switchgear, medium voltage (4.16kV, 13.2kV, 33kV) metal-enclosed switchgear, VFDs, MCCs

· Preparation of one-line diagrams, Design of feeder breaker controls, Preparation of cable and conduit schedules, panelboard schedules, design of underground electrical distribution system, pad-mount transformers for radial and loop systems, pad-mount switches/switchgear, double-ended substation, protection scheme for double-ended substation, electric power distribution design and standby power generation

· Construction management duties including shop drawing review, Inspections, as-built reviews and Manual reviews

Electrical Inspector

For projects in Mid-Atlantic (Richmond to Philadelphia), the Electrical Inspector is responsible for field inspections of an electrical project related to inspection of low voltage (less than 480 volts) and medium voltage (up to 33kV) electrical facilities. This person will collaborate and interact with firm’s engineers, contractor, and all other team members and sub-contractors in all aspects of the project.

• Should be a self-starter and be able to hit the ground running.

• 10+ years of relevant electrical project experience (office and/or field experience, or a combination of both).

• Experienced in low and medium voltage and electrical facilities.

• Have excellent communication and time management skills.

• OSHA 10-hour training certification

• Certified Construction Quality Manager for Contractors (CQM-C) preferred

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software

• Experience working with federal Project Management Systems

• Requires individual with good judgment, discipline, dependability, and responsibility.
